How much does RayApp cost?
RayApp runs on a freemium model, meaning that you can use the most part of the app for free. Some functionalities however will be only available through a paid subscription.
This allows us to keep up the highest level of privacy when it comes to your personal data.
So you don't sell data? Even in the future?
Absolutely. We are huge fans of privacy and data protection, even more so when it comes to data ownership. We will always strive to build RayApp on a strong privacy foundation and although we have some ideas for future revenue streams, none of them even remotely include selling your personal data.
When will RayApp be available?
We’re working hard on finishing the first version of RayApp and are currently aiming to launch in early 2025. Although the prototype is already working, we want to provide you with an excellent experience and for this we still have quite a bit to do.

Will there be a beta version available?
Yes! Currently, we’re still working on getting the app to a good level where testing for issues we might not yet be aware of will be super helpful. Once the beta version is available for testing, we will share relevant information with everyone on the waitlist.

What is the waitlist for?
We wanted to establish an easy way for you to stay up to date on the progress of RayApp. Once you sign up, you’ll receive regular updates on the development progress as well as information on the RayApp community, beta access and ways on how to actually influence the direction and feature prioritisation of the app.
Which chat apps will be available?
We’re planning on kicking things off with WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, LinkedIn Messenger, and Telegram. This, however, is only the beginning. Throughout the time we’ll work hard and quickly to implement more services, including Email, SMS, Signal, Slack, Discord DMs and X and whatever else will make sense.
Will you implement iMessage for the Android app?
Honestly, we would love to! But sadly there is no proper and, especially, safe way to do that without potentially corrupting the privacy and data safety of our users as of now.
However, once there is a sensible and secure way to implement it, we’ll jump right into it!
